Can anyone tell me how to compare acid nature between the following:

a)NaCl     b)NH4CN        c)NaCN        d)NH4Cl

Please tell me the method to solve such questions.

all these are salts of acid and basic ions and therefore the acidic comparison can be done only by the hydrolysis of the salts.

thus NH4Cl has the most acidic character(saltof str. acid weak base)

followed by NH4CN(im not sure     it will depend on the pKb &pKa values of NH4OH and HCN resp.)

then NaCl

and last NaCN(more basic)
