when some amount of water is spilled on the floor .....it takes certain time to dissappear.....what happens to that water...does it evaporate ?

if so....where is the energy coming from for it to evaporate ?

when a fan is switched on ......the water dissappears faster than when it is switched off.....why does it happen so ??

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SIMPLE ADIABATIC EXPANSION OF GASES AND JOULE THOMSON EXPERIMENT.BOTH OCCUR IN ADIABATIC CONDITION AND INVOLVE EXPANSION OF GASES.........BUT IN THE FORMER CASE IDEAL GASES SHOW DROP IN TEMPERATURE WHILE IN LATTER THEY CASE DONT?

                     I WANTED TO KNOW THAT whether direction of normal reaction is normal to the body on which it acts or is it normal to the surface on which body is kept?........what will be the direction of normal force(by the wall) on a rod leaning against a wall,with some portion of ladder protuding out.........please help me

i cant understand why does a time varying magnetic field induces a non conservative electric field in any loop. i mean if flux is changing, then only an emf must be induced which should obey E=-dV/dl, (ie) it should be conservative....
