a piece of ice floating in a vessel containing water and inside ice are few lead shots. when the ice melts completly, the level of water will:

a) go down

b) first go down and then go up

c) remain the same

d) go up

and why?

I think that the water level will increase.First,the ice melts to increase the water level in the vessel.Then since we are talking of 'level' the lead shots will displace some water and hence increase the level.
