Could some one explain me the different kinds of addition reaction in organic chemistry in detail.(also with example)
Will be grateful.

Well one of the addition reaction is called 'polymerization' .In this an unsaturated hydrocarbon molecule undergoes addition with itself to form a larger molecule consisiting of repeated chaind of thousand of saturated hydrocarbon molecule
Eg: Ethene (C2H4) undergoes addition reaction to form a solid polymer called polythelene or polythene.
{1} ELECTROPHILIC ADDITION REACTION : IN THIS CASE , ELECTRON-SEEKING SPECIES OR ELECTROPHILES ( CH3+ , NO2+ ) ADD ON TO ELECTRON-RICH SITES . EXAMPLE : CH3+ ADDS ON TO BENZENE IN FRIEDEL-CRAFTS ALKYLATION REACTION .
(2) NUCLEOPHILIC ADDITION REACTIONS ARE SIMPLY THE OPPOSITE WAY ROUND WHERE NUCLEOPHILES ADD ON TO ELECTRON-DEFICIENT CENTRES . EXAMPLE : ADDITION OF AMMONIA DERIVATIVES TO CO BOND IN ALDEHYDES OR KETONES .
