1) 4 modifications r suggested in the lens formula to include the effect of thickness 't' of the lens.which one is likely to be correct? (H.C. VERMA PAGE 411)
A)(1/v)-(1/u)=(t/uf)
B)(t/v^2)-(1/u)=(1/f)
C)(v-t)^-1 +(u+t)^-1 =(1/f)
D)(1/v)-(1/u)+(t/uv)=t/f

TELL ME HOW 2 PROCEED?

2)QUESTION 14 IN SAME PAGE.
I'M GETTING, FOR MU>1 ANS =D
FOR MU<1 ANS =C
PLEASE LET ME KNOW U'R OPINION.

1) take the refraction from first surface of the lens and find v(say v1) for it using formula of refraction from curved surface.then find !u!(mod u) for second surface of the lens which is equal to !v1!-t

where t= thickness .then take the refraction from second surface using formula of refraction from curved surface
