triangle ABC is an equilateral triangle each side being 60 units. At time t=0,a particle P starts moving from point A to point C along side AC of the triangle with a constant speed of 2 units per second.A second particle Q starts moving from the mid-point D of side BC towards C with a variable rate so that area of triangle PQC always remains half of area of triangle ABC.Determine the time at which rate Q's rate becomes same as that of particle P.
Rekha
Area ADC is already = half of ABC so if both P and Q moving from A to C and D to C respectively then you will never have a situation like that mentioned in your problem. This is what is my observation.
i agree with ajay this problem is wrong according tome
