In a pack of 52 cards, one card is lost. Then, two cards are drawn at

random, and both the cards were hearts.

Find the probability that the card that was lost, was a heart.

total 52

a card lost, there fore 51,

again 2 cards were draws and both hearts therefore 49 left

total hearts left 2

now the lost card must me something or the other

so total cards = 49+1=50

so probabillity of the lost card being heart is 2/50 = 1/25
