Why do colors of moist clothes seem deeper and richer than dry ones?
Water fills up some space in wet cloth that increases absorption of light and reduces its reflection - that's why.
AS WATER ABSORBS THE SPACES B/W THE CLOTHES, THE COLOR OF LESSER WAVELENGHT AREN'T ABLE TO REFLECT BUT THE COLORS OF HIGHER WAVELENGTH GETS REFLECTED AND SCATTER LESS FOR WHICH IT LOOKS DARK AND RICH!
