X and Y are two sets and f: X->Y.If {f(c)=y;c C X, y C Y} and {f^-1(d)=x;dCY, XCY}, then the true statement is

a) f(f^-1(b))=b (b) f^-1(f(a))=a (c) f(f^-1(b))=b, bCy

(d) f^-1(f(a))=a , aCx

Please explain both question and answer.

Where you have written {f^-1(d)=x;dCY, XCY} check if it is {f^-1(d)=x;dCY, xCX}

sin sin-1y=y for yCY can be somewhat easy way to understand.
