Gravitational force acts on all objects in proportion to their masses. Why then, a heavy object doesn't fall faster than a light object?

It is not force but acceleration which decides slow/fast fall.Acceleration is same for all.
but isn't the formula also as
F = [G(M*m)]/d2
then according to this force is directly proportional 2 mass
