"ITs said that, in one electron system, the s and p orbitals lie in the same energy level, but in multi electron system, in addition to the nuclear attraction between nucleus and the electron, there is a also a force repulsion between the electrons present. So that shields the nuclear attraction between nucleus and the electron. Result is that, the s and p orbitals don't lie in the same energy level."
Can anyone explain the full statement properly and make me understand properly??

Orbital is the region of high electron density and motion of electron depends on the sigma of forces acting on it. This sigma is goin to change due to repulsion of screening electrons and thus would change the energy levels of orbitals.
