Iodometry is estimation using liberated iodine from a reaction.
Eg:
2Cu2+ + 4I- ----> Cu2I2+ I2
This Iodine can be titrated against standardised thiosulphate solution with starch indicator and using law of equivalents, we can estimate amount of Copper in sample.
Iodimetry is liberation of Iodide ion and estimation using it .
