The root function is a saturating function (its speed of growth decreases as x increases) and hence larger interval of x is required to cause same change in the root function as x increases. Since, it is inside sin function, this behaviour should show in the given function as well. In other words the function should stretch more as x increases, hence it cannot be periodic.

The answer should not change if the given [ ] means floor function or not.
