Charges on the capacitor

by Krishnan G -

Charges q1=30 microcoloumb,   q2 = 20 microcoloumb,  q = 10 microcoloumb are given to the three capacitors C1 = 10 microfarad C2 = 20 microfarad, C3 = 30 microfarad which are connected in series as shown in the diagram. The switch is then closed. Find the final charge distribution on the plates of the capacitor.

physics

Two charged dust particles exert a force of 8.8 10-2 N on each other. What will be the force if they are moved so they are only one-fourth as far apart?

Relation and Function

by Archana Tikayat Ray -

Let S be a relation on the set R of all real numbers defined by:

S= {(a,b) E R * R : a^2+b^2=1 }

prove that S is not an equivalence relation on R.

Thermodynamics

by Anchal Saxena -

2.0 moles of helium are initially at a temperature of 27 deg. C and occupy a volume of 20 lt. The helium is first expanded at constant pressure until the temperature returns to its initial value.

(i) compute total heat supplied in the process.

(ii) what is the final volume.

chemical equilibrium

by Anchal Saxena -

calculate the volume percent of chlorine gas at equilibrium in the dissociation of PCl5(g)under a total pressure of 1.5 atm . The Kp for its dissociation =0.3

the lines given by x^2+2xy-35y^2-4x+44y-12=0 and the line 5x+2y-8=0 are      1)parallel 2)concurrent 3)coincident 4)none of these.

please help in solving.

Equivalent resistence
